‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ spoilers: About those teasers…

Before we even saw any actual footage at all on season 2 of “American Horror Story,” we watched probably around a dozen or so teaser videos that were creepy, but really did not have much of a connection to anything outside of the fact that they centered around an asylum run by nuns. As it turns out no, however, there may have been more of a connection here than we initially imagined.

According to a new report from E! News, the episode from this current season airing Wednesday night is going to delve a little bit deeper into one of the mysteries that we see in the two clips below. So is it the mysterious blue coat, or the hydrobath that still gives us the willies just about every time that we look at it? Personally, we’re betting on the later, mostly because we have to believe that this is going to be relevant to something eventually. Who knows? Maybe one of the patients gets dropped into it and is forced to fend for their lives. After all, the blue coat just reminds us of statis electricity for one reason or another, and there’s nothing scary about that unless you are at the grocery store and it happens to you courtesy of a shopping cart.

Regardless of which promo it is, we figure that the primary subject of season 2 will be whether or not Bloody Face is really as evil as he is being accused, and if Lana is somehow going to find a way to escape her awful predicament. As for Adam Levine’s character of Leo, it’s not looking good…

Which one of these teasers do you want to see implemented more into an upcoming episode?
