The Conners season 2: Johnny Galecki teases David’s return

The Conners

Are you prepared for The Conners season 2 to premiere on ABC this fall? If so, here is another reason to add to some of the excitement: The opportunity in order to see more of Johnny Galecki on the series moving forward!

In a new post on Instagram (see below) Galecki confirmed that he could be coming back to the show for a couple more episodes over the course of the second season. We had assumed that David could be coming back, especially since Galecki’s schedule may be a little bit more clear now that his time on The Big Bang Theory is over. Yet, we know well enough at this point that we never want to take anything for granted … especially since it’s fair for Johnny to want somewhat of a break from the action. That’s probably one of the reasons why he is not a series regular proper. You can never say never when it comes to some long-term plans for the actor, but the same goes for The Conners as a series itself. There’s no real clarity at the moment as to whether or not we are going to see the series back for a third season. Much of that will depend on what happens ratings-wise this time around.

For The Conners season 2, what we’re most looking forward to seeing is the writers get a real chance to establish this show’s identity completely on their own. For much of the first go-around, they were still understandably living in Roseanne Barr’s shadow. It’s hard to get away from that when you remember that she was one of the most notable sitcom stars of all time. The do still have a talented cast, and now they won’t be enduring the headlines anywhere near as much.

To go along with Galecki, we know that there is a chance that someone else who is sitcom royalty could be coming onto The Conners. For more on that, be sure to visit the link here.
