Grant Hotel episode 11 preview: A charity auction within ‘Art of Darkness’

Anytime we hear the words “charity auction” within the lens of a TV show, there’s always one thought that enters our mind — well, this is probably not going to end well. This is where we are entering Grand Hotel episode 11 next week, as this brings to mind all of those crazy charity events that happen on the various Real Housewives shows. Things always start off great and then, within the matter of a few short minutes, everyone is screaming at each other.

So what’s going to happen within this episode? It starts with Teresa doing what she can in order to make this auction successful, but it may end in a way that nobody seems coming. Meanwhile, through this episode, you’re going to see some other characters make some surprising revelations at the same time. Teresa hosts a charity auction at the hotel. Meanwhile, Alicia and Javi learn more about Beatriz and the unmarked room, bringing back confusing childhood memories.

What could make these childhood memories painful for Alicia and Javi? It’s possible that they contain some trauma that they’ve tried to store away for a really long time, and now, they’re going to be forced to deal with some of it head-on. That’s a part of the story that Grand Hotel seems to be playing this season — secrets don’t ever stay buried, including some of the ones that you try to keep to yourself (sometimes to no avail).

Given how we are also gearing up for the end of the season, we also imagine that whether it be these secrets, romances, or other relationships as a whole, everything will crescendo to a point where the hotel almost caves in on itself. This is a show that is meant to present a dramatic, soapy feel — they want you to be shouting obscenities at the screen by the end of the season. There’s nothing that this show could do that would be more shocking than them having something other than a big cliffhanger at the very end of the story.
