Poldark season 5 episode 7 preview: The last before finale

Poldark season 5 episode 7

We don’t need to tell you that Poldark season 5 episode 7 is going to be. After all, this is going to be the final episode of the series before the big finale! Prepare to get emotional, and at the same time, prepare for the drama to be at a peak.

The first thing that we should note when it comes to Poldark season 5 episode 7 is that it’s airing at a different timeslot than usual. We’re not going to be seeing the series stay true to airing Sunday nights at 9:00 p.m. local time. Instead, it’s going to be shifting over to a new spot next Sunday at 8:00, prior to the premiere of Peaky Blinders. As reported previously, the finale for the series itself is going to air on Monday, August 26 at 8:30. It’s a weird schedule to offer closure, and the downside to it is that there isn’t all that much time in order to prepare for the future.

Below, CarterMatt offers up the official Poldark season 5 episode 7 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming up next:

When Ross (Aidan Turner) discovers that his nemesis is linked to a national security threat in Cornwall, he returns to London with Dwight (Luke Norris), Kitty (Kerri McLean) and Caroline (Gabriella Wilde), who puts her insecurities aside to oppose Merceron (Tim Dutton) in high society.

Ross is dismissed by Wickham, and Caroline is threatened against supporting Kitty’s campaign, as Geoffrey Charles (Freddie Wise) and Cecily (Lily Dodsworth Evans) seek Ross’s help in escaping her family.

The party flee London in secret to secure the lovers a future, but Merceron’s reach spans the globe – and our heroes’ enemies follow swiftly in their wake…

This is an episode where allegiances are going to be tested, especially when it comes to social status, friendships, and futures. This may be one of Caroline’s most important episodes to date, and also one where Geoffrey Charles is going to find himself wondering if there will a chance to still have love in his future.
