What we do know is this — with a show like The Good Doctor, there is always going to be a pressing need for guest stars. This is a hospital drama, after all, and the series is going to need patients, family members, hospital personnel, and a whole lot more. This is without even considering some of the other people who can pop up in the personal lives of some of the series regulars. What is great about doing a show like this as a performer is that if you’re in a hospital, you’re probably in a certain degree of peril. That means that there is typically some stellar material for you to work with, even if you are only around for a certain period of time.
The Good Doctor is already more than a month into production on season 3, and the premiere is set for late September. We’re curious already to see what unfolds on the new batch of episodes, given that Shaun has a new love interest in Carly, he’s back at the hospital, and there is a chance that we’re going to see more of Dr. Glassman doing some of what he does best within the medical field. There’s a lot to love about the upcoming batch of episodes, and the hard part is simply going to be having to sit around and wait for them.
