Are You the One? season 8 episode 9 video: Remy, Paige’s date

Could Remy and Paige be a perfect match on Are You the One? season 8? If you were to take a deep statistical analysis on everything, we’re not altogether hopeful … but there’s also a difference between statistics and life. There’s also no denying that the two do have some chemistry together, and the sneak peek from Monday night’s new episode is proof of that.

In the video sneak peek below, you can see these two characters spending some time together on what is an ice-cream date. They share a few laughs, they talk a little bit about their feelings, and Remy makes it clear that he is up for the challenge of trying to win her over. He also recognizes that she has some other feelings elsewhere and he doesn’t mind — he is confident that he can storm the metaphorical castle that is her heart.

Sometimes, it’s easy to get caught up in the game of Are You the One? and lose sight of some of the individual relationships. These are going to be some of the things that matter on the other side of this season. For Paige and Remy, this means the two characters building a bond that could be valuable … even if it’s not romantic. It’s good to feel pursued and wanted in the world, and it’s a foundation that can be built upon.

No matter what happens when it comes to Paige and Remy, we at least know this — we’d rather watch these two character feel out some of their feelings for each other a million times over whatever is going on with Kai. Some of that drama that has been going on there has been all sorts of overwhelming and then some.
