Are You the One? season 8 episode 9 preview: All eyes on Kai

As we prepare for Are You the One? season 8 episode 9 coming up on MTV, the drama is clearly at a peak. After all, just think about everything that we saw tonight with Kai. This is someone who has spent a lot of time with Jasmine — and a lot of other people at the same time. Nour was upset over the amount of time Jasmine and Kai were spending together, and it’s going to be interesting seeing where things go from here.

As a reminder, this is supposed to be a series that is all about love — you just don’t see that every second of the day. Sometimes, you see drama instead.

At the end of some of the under-the-sea party drama tonight, though, one question was very clear: Why is all of the anger from Nour being geared towards Jasmine? Shouldn’t both of them really be angry at Kai? Shouldn’t a lot of people be angry at Kai? This is a season where there’s been one person responsible for more of the drama than anyone else and we’ve seen them be able to get out of these situations, time and time again. Judging from the preview for what’s next, Kai will be spotlighting, and the question will be whether or not there will be consequences of the confrontation. Will Kai start to realize more that it’s time to own up for some of what’s happened? Or, will there be some more deflection?

To think, there are still many more questions to come beyond the drama — we still have perfect matches to search for and while the field of possibilities is being narrowed down, we’re not all the way there yet. People are exploring, and they are just trying to find whatever they think feels right for them. That’s not something that comes around overnight on a show where there are SO many constant possibilities to look at.

Oh, and did we mention that Kai is still going to be looking towards Jenna, despite everything that has transpired with the two of them already? Yes, that is absolutely still going on, as well.
