‘Arrow’ spoilers: First photo of Deathstroke arrives!

Even though “Arrow” could have meticulously taken its time over the years to show off some of the villains from the DC Comics’ universe, we’re rather loving that they are choosing to give us so many opportunities to see some good villains early on.

So who’s next following the appearance of one China White on this past episode? One of the villains to watch for is certainly Deathstroke (Jeffrey Robinson), who will be making his first appearance on the fifth episode of the season airing in November. However, it does not appear as though we will be seeing the character in the present, at least according to the description for the hour (which is entitled “Damaged”) courtesy of The CW:

“After Detective Lance (Paul Blackthorne) arrests Oliver (Stephen Amell) for murder, Oliver tells Moira (Susanna Thompson) the only lawyer he’ll allow to represent him is Laurel (Katie Cassidy). Laurel takes the case which puts her at odds with her father. Oliver offers to take a polygraph in front Detective Lance but things get tense when Lance asks him if anyone else was on the island with him. Oliver flashes back to when he got his first scar, courtesy of Deathstroke (guest star Jeffrey Robinson).”

As this release makes it clear, there’s really no need at all for Deathstroke to turn up in the present for the time being; after all, he has plenty of other problems courtesy of an arrest, and an attempt to bond a little bit more with a woman that he at one point betrayed back before he had the opportunity to tap into his true potential.
