That has been a part of the narrative for a while now and in that way, we really should not be shocked that we are getting it again. How could we? This time around, though, the story will be about how Alphy really gets himself in a spot where he gets back to work — and to the surprise of no one, this is going to be once again all around a case.

Ultimately, it is certainly worth remembering at this point is that we are in the final season and by virtue of that, every single story is going to matter infinitely more than it did once upon a time. We do tend to think that they are all going to build towards a series finale, but just what will that look like? How devastating could it be for some of these characters? There is so much to wonder about within all of that but at the same time, we do tend to think still that we are building towards a happy conclusion. This show has made us fall in love with their characters and the last thing we imagine is that we’re going to end here in a devastating spot.
