‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6 spoilers: Stephen Hawking and an angry Penny

Are you excited to see more from Stephen Hawking on “The Big Bang Theory”? Well, let’s say that the famed scientist is going to be a key component on the upcoming sixth episode of the season.

Before we get to that, though, we do have a valid question: just what in the world is going on in the photo to the left? It certainly looks as though there is some sort of major disagreement blooming with Leonard and Penny, and it is something that could actually cause these two to ultimately go their separate ways? We don’t know, but there was clearly some tension present between the two of them when he started spending some time with Sheldon’s assistant a little bit earlier in the season.

Now, we’ll get back to Hawking for a moment. This episode is going to be entitled “The Extract Obliteration,” and here is the official synopsis of the half-hour courtesy of CBS:

“Sheldon’s relationship with Stephen Hawking is threatened over a game of ‘Words with Friends,’ and Penny secretly enrolls in a class at the local college.”

By the end of this episode, we could ultimately be seeing the biggest confrontation involving “Words with Friends” ever since Alec Baldwin got himself thrown off of an airplane. We love the idea behind this episode, and we also love that Hawking has become so game in involving himself with this show despite having so much else on his plate as one of the most brilliant scientists alive. (Who knows? Maybe he becomes the new Wil Wheaton.)

What do you think about the idea of this episode, and do you think that we could actually be seeing Penny and Leonard in some serious trouble?
