So what’s the main event? We think that it’s gotta be the sugar mill fire — and also the aftermath of it. This is something that is representative of things both physical and emotional. It’s a loss of business, a difficult circumstance to repair, but it’s also the transformation of hopes and dreams into ash. This is going to be painful and odds are, it’s not going to be resolved in this episode, either. This feels like the sort of thing that is going to play out and be important for the remainder of the season — let alone some period of time beyond that.

Tragedy strikes the Bordelon family when they learn that their sugar mill has been burned down. Meanwhile, Ralph Angel’s re-entry program is under review and Nova struggles with being estranged from the family.
As we get closer to this episode airing, the #1 thing to prepare for is tears — get some tissues ready with that in mind. Hopes and dreams are in trouble but for Nova, she still has to deal with the aftermath of some of her own choices. We know that she’s had a really tough time dealing with some of the decisions that she made. Namely, we’re talking here about that book — it’s hovered over the rest of the season and it’s not done overing just yet.
So what are we hoping to see next? We think that a lot of it could be summed up in just one word: hope. We’ve seen a ton of characters really go through it as of late and these final episodes could serve as a chance to find the light amidst the darkness.
