Blood & Treasure episode 12 (finale) spoilers: ‘The Revenge of Farouk’
Through “The Revenge of Farouk,” one of the things that we’re hoping to see is a little bit more clossure when it comes to that particular character. We know that there’s a case to be made for keeping Oded Fehr around — he’s a compelling actor with a lot of great credits to his name. Yet, you want to be careful with that. Don’t keep him for the sake of keeping him. Keep him around if you have more great stuff to explore. Entering this episode, it feels like this is the zenith of his plan and while there is a season 2 renewal out there, it wasn’t announced until well after the first season wrapped filming.
Just remember this entering the episode — even if the Farouk story is wrapped up, there are more ways that a cliffhanger could be written into the equation. This doesn’t have to be an occasion where there is nothing else for viewers to cling to.

“The Revenge of Farouk” – Secrets are exposed, fates are sealed, and Danny and Lexi’s lives will never be the same after Farouk’s master plan is put into action, on the first season finale of BLOOD & TREASURE, Tuesday, August 6 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
If you just think in terms of what the cliffhanger could be (if we even get one), it feels like Danny and Lexi could be in for a major life change. Maybe the finale sets them up for a new adventure or a quest that is more personal to them than ever before. We’re not sure that they will ever be able to get a lot of breathing room on a series like this. We’re not even sure that you would want for them to.
