Elementary season 7 episode 12 spoilers: The last before big finale

Elementary season 7 episode 12 is the penultimate one of the series, and it is going to be one that delivers drama like no other. It isn’t going to be one that sets the stage for the big showdown between Sherlock Holmes, Joan Watson, and Odin Reichenbach. He’s showing himself to be one of the most notorious villains in the history of the series and for so many reasons. He’s devious, he’s cunning, and he’s willing to do whatever to get his technology to the next level. He’s able to use his money and his power in order to ensure that he gets everything that he wants, and that includes being able to divert attention from him.

Of course, what we’ve learned already is that you can’t buy off Sherlock and Joan. Trying to convince them to come on board is a mistake … and there could be some other ones that are coming through the remainder of the season, as well.

“Reichenbach Falls” – Tech billionaire Odin Reichenbach inadvertently provides Holmes and Watson with a lead that could give them evidence that brings him to justice, on ELEMENTARY, Thursday, August 8 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The moment that Sherlock and Joan get their lead, they may start to think that this is going to deliver them on a path to answers. Unfortunately, it’s not going to be anywhere near that easy. We’ve come to learn by now that nothing in this world is. There are going to be challenges ahead and some twists and turns that nobody’s going to expect. Odin’s going to be able to pivot, more than likely, when he realizes that some of his plans aren’t working out as he previously planned.

We’re going to eventually be building towards a possible Moriarty story! The official synopsis for the series finale (read here) indicates that we’re going to have a chance to see that character factor into the story once more. It’s too bad that there’s no indication yet that Natalie Dormer will be making an appearance in the flesh.
