The Blacklist season 7: First photo of Megan Boone, more cast members

If you missed the news from earlier this week, filming on The Blacklist season 7 is now officially underway. For the better part of the next several months, you are going to see many of your favorite cast members taking on all sorts of intriguing operations. There will be new villains, larger mysteries, and hopefully have a few answers sprinkled in. At some point before the finale airs in May, fingers crossed that we actually learn whether or not this is the final season.

For now, let’s just relish in seeing a first look at Megan Boone and some of the other cast members in action. In a new post on Instagram, Boone posted the photo of herself alongside Amir Arison, Harry Lennix, Diego klattenhoff, and Hisham Tawfiq. With the exception of Dembe, all of these characters are Task Force characters, and will be getting ready for a big season for the FBI at large. If you remember, at the end of last season the task force was doing everything that they could in order to stick around. There was no guarantee that they would be able to because of the Robert Diaz investigation. Luckily, it turned out in their favor.

For those of you wondering about the whereabouts of one James Spader, it’s possible that he was not filming on the day. Meanwhile, it’s also possible that production is doing everything that they can in order to keep James’ storyline a secret moving forward to the premiere this October. Everyone is well aware of how shocking the end of season 6 was, where Reddington ended up meeting up with one Katarina Rostova. (Or, who we believe to be Katarina Rostova.) If there are some additional intriguing elements about that storyline, it makes sense to keep them under wraps for as long as humanly possible.

Here’s to an exciting season of The Blacklist coming up on NBC, and for some great material coming in the direction of the cast and crew.
