Poldark season 5 episode 3 preview: Ross deals with a disaster

PoldarkWhere will the story go for Ross and some other characters entering Poldark season 5 episode 3? There will be some steps forward, but many other leaps in a different direction.

For the time being, we think that one of the pivotal decisions of this entire season is Ross opting to do what he’s done when it comes to Ned Despard. He worked in order to secure his release and valued his friendship. However, for every action has consequences and there are going to be more of those to come. Prepare for a major incident to unfold, one that could cause Ross and Ned to have to work together — and work quite quickly, as well.

Want some more news as to what’s coming? Then take a look at the full Poldark season 5 episode 3 synopsis below:

Ross’s tenacity in helping Ned (Vincent Regan, pictured) finally bears fruit, but it comes at a cost.

Hanson’s (Peter Sullivan) presence in Cornwall raises suspicions, and as Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) wrestles with how best to equip the community to look after itself, Morwenna (Ellise Chappell) lends herself to the cause and finds new hope.

Geoffrey Charles (Freddie Wise) and Cecily’s (Lily Dodsworth-Evans) relationship continues to blossom. Meanwhile her father Ralph pursues an arrangement with George (Jack Farthing), but George’s sanity continues to deteriorate and Cary (Pip Torrens) struggles under mounting responsibilities.

Feeling bored and neglected, Valentine (Woody Norman) decides to break out of Trenwith in search of new friends. Meanwhile, the Enyses look to challenge the county’s high society by hosting a ball to introduce the Despards, before disaster strikes and Ross and Ned must take heroic action together.

As you can tell on the basis of this alone, there are going to see an array of highs and lows. Morwenna having hope is something that makes us happy, mostly because we’ve long hoped to see that character find some happiness. Meanwhile, Geoffrey Charles doing so may come with some consequences on its own. The George storyline is troubling but, by the end of the season, maybe we will see more of what is coming.
