The Expanse season 4 premiere date, poster, more revealed!
Let’s start things off with the great news from San Diego Comic-Con today that the latest batch of episodes is going to be kicking off when you get around to Friday, December 13. That goes along with some of what we heard going into the convention this weekend. It’s a long time to wait still, but as you would imagine, doing a show like this does not come easy. It also needs to have all of its episodes wrapped in order for them to be available for streaming all at the same time.
The goal of The Expanse season 4 is quite simple: Expand the world. Visit new places, see new things, and see the crew take on a totally different mission. There are a number of new additions this time around including Sleepy Hollow alum Lyndie Greenwood, Keon Alexander, Rosa Gilmore, and others, and we think the show will celebrate its freedom away from traditional television by being even more bold and daring than ever before.
To go along with the premiere date, Amazon did also reveal a couple of other welcome tidbits when it comes to The Expanse season 4 — a new teaser (which you can watch over here) and also a poster, which can be seen at the bottom of this article.
Is this meant to be the end?
Probably not. It’s hard for us to imagine that Amazon will have gone through everything that they do to acquire this show only to then drop it not too long after the fact. We like to imagine that they are in this for the long haul and want to do what they can in order to celebrate having this show on their service. We understand that this may not be a cheap series to produce, but let’s not pretend like Jeff Bezos’ company is short on cash. We know that Bezos himself is a fan of the source material and that, plus the quality of the storytelling, could be factors in it sticking around.
