Poldark season 5 episode 2 photos: Ross, Demelza, and other couples
This episode is going to be one that starts off with what we’d call a calm facade. There will be couples together in Cornwall, spending time together and thinking that their lives are in a fairly good place. This includes Ross Poldark, who doesn’t seem to be all that fazed by the fact that his house was just on fire as he spends some time with Demelza. This photo above is almost vintage Poldark whether it be the romance, the costumes, or the windswept hair and big smiles. Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson could be famous from their smiles alone — they are that immediately recognizable!

At some point in this episode we imagine that these characters will do their part in order to contend with some other problems, whether it be more trouble coming in the direction of Ned Despard (who will be spending time with his own wife, finally) or trying to get to the bottom of who started the aforementioned fire in the first place.
As for Drake and Morwenna, this photo is equally pleasant to what we have with Ross and Demelza! The fact that the two are even together is so far and away from where we were during the early days of this show. Their problems moving forward are going to be ones related to finding the right way forward in their physical relationship. Morwenna wants that, but simultaneously, she also recognizes her trauma and also that this is going to be a difficult struggle for her. The fact that the two are holding hands is a wonderful sign — the beach is a sacred place for the two of them, and it dates back to when Morwenna was a governess back when we first met her on the series. A lot has changed since then, but the smiles and feelings are very much similar.
