The 100 season 6 episode 11 promo: Bob Morley directs!

There’s so much to like about The 100 season 6 episode 11 going into it, starting with the big headlines from behind the scenes. Bob Morley is making his directorial debut!

There are a number of things that Warner Bros. TV and The CW have done extremely well through their collaboration, but we have to put directorial opportunities for the cast up there on the list. This is not something that all networks and studios allow, but Morley joins the likes of Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Danielle Panabaker, David Ramsey, and Melissa Benoist (set to direct during Supergirl season 5) as CW stars who have gotten a chance to dive behind the camera. Because Morley’s been a part of this show for so long now, he understands the ins and outs of what’s going to be happening more so than anyone. He knows what makes great episodes and he’s had the time to watch and learn from some of the other people who have taken on this gig over time.

As for what’s coming in the episode itself, think in terms of a big Bellamy episode — it’s rare for an actor to have a major storyline in their directorial debut (being behind the camera and in front of the camera is incredibly difficult!), but that’s happening here as Bellamy and Octavia are going to find themselves on the brink. The promo below shows you the sort of danger that Clarke is in, and also some of the means that may be taken to ensure her safety. (It’s only ten seconds, so there’s only so much that can be teased!)
