So what’s going to make this MasterChef challenge so tough? It’s not just working with beef; it’s also working on the grill. That’s not something that everyone knows how to do. It’s about seasoning, sure, but it’s also about technique. You need to have the right temperature and, beyond that, you need to time it perfectly and leave something on for long enough so that it doesn’t become undercooked on the other side.
What makes MasterChef season 10 so great is that we’re getting a chance to see a pretty wide array of challenges — it’s not about giving us a typical mystery box or even a typical elimination one. We do appreciate the show trying to throw everything possible at these home cooks, whether it be sticking them outside with a grill or making them do desserts in another moment. Variety is a big part of what makes this competition go and why it’s so interesting time after time.
As for what could happen during this cook-off, the mystery is a big part of what makes it fun! For example, just because there may be contestants who are proficient at grilling does not mean that they’ve got the leg up at the moment. There is a good chance that we could end up seeing one of them forced to pack their bags — all it takes is letting your guard down and having a bad performance in one challenge at the wrong moment.
