‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Naya Rivera on future of Brittany and Santana

If you were feeling completely and totally distraught over the loss of a certain fan favorite “Glee” couple recently in Brittany and Santana, we do have some rather great news worth sharing now: they are not necessarily over, and it does at least look like they will continue to be friends thanks to the rather amicable nature of their split.

Speaking as a part of a new interview with E! News, Naya Rivera was pretty coy when it comes to whether or not she and Brittany would be making any music together at any point in the near future, but there is some other good news to share here in that she is not necessarily going to be taking off right back to Louisville right away after her sudden (and horrendously sad) breakup. Plus, she’ll be a part of the show’s upcoming musical that is being directed by none other than Cory Monteith’s Finn:

“We’re doing Grease, and that was fun. I got to participate in that, which was a nice little homecoming … [As for Brittany], right now, the breakup is still fresh. So I guess we’ll see.”

At this given moment, we have to say that “Brittana” are the couple that is the most likely to get back together at some point before the end of the season, even though there is still a part of us that suspects that we will also see Kurt and Blaine and Rachel and Finn each also make some steps to repair their fractured relationships before everything is said and done. The sad thing about television is that we have already come to know and love certain couples, and it is thus going to be hard to take any future pairing involving any of them seriously, given that it’s almost certain that they will find a way back to each other eventually.

Do you think Brittany and Santana will get back together this season?
