With The 100 season 6 episode 10 arriving on The CW tonight, why not take a longer look now at some of what’s coming?
In the video that CarterMatt has for you below, executive producer Jason Rothenberg and also co-executive producer Drew Lindo (who wrote this episode) spoke about what’s coming up. Let’s start with Simone, who comes home to find that it’s not anywhere close to the home that she left. This is the sort of thing that will make her furious, but what can she do about it becoming an armed encampment? Is there a way to actually turn things around? This is some of the stuff that this episode is going to explore. We’re not sure any sort of revenge plot on Simone’s part can be executed within the span of just one episode, but we’ll definitely give her all the credit in the world for trying.
As for what’s coming with Clarke and Josephine, here it is mostly a race to see if there is a way for the two to separate themselves from each other. If things continue to be the way in which they are right now, there is a genuine risk of the body expiring if the two minds continue to be at war with each other. Clarke may have a relative amount of control right now (at least more than usual), but there’s no guarantee that this is going to last and we’re going to continue to see her and Josephine engage in one fight after the next. This mental warfare could have consequences so much more severe than we ever imagined going into the season … we also don’t see it ending within episode 10 when there are still three more episodes to come for resolution on the other side.
Rest assured, there are even more stories coming up beyond what you see here — The 100 has done a great job establishing a new, rich world for itself this season and while certain parts of it may feel scattered, the focus will remain mostly on the longstanding familiar faces. Bellamy, for example, will have a lot to say before this story comes to a close.
