Animal Kingdom season 4 episode 8 sneak peek: A horror movie party?
Angela decides that now is the right time to tempt Pope into sitting around and enjoying some of his favorite films from the past. This is something that the two of them used to do in the old days and what better time then now to relive some of that? She seems eager to have them spend some quality time together, but for us personally we’re still left to wonder what her intentions are? We’ve learned already that Angela isn’t being honest about her criminal history and could have larger goals in mind for the Cody clan than what she’s letting on. Doesn’t a home robbery sound like the sort of thing that could happen? Remember, Smurf is suddenly out of the picture! Because of her disappearance at the end of this past episode, it does raise a real question of if Angela is going to strike while the iron is hot?
Before the end of this episode, we should get an answer to this — and also an answer about whether or not Pope and the rest of the Codys are going to be successful in their latest job. We know already what they’re out to do in terms of the concert event — it’s one of the biggest gigs that J has had without too much help directly from Smurf (though she was involved a little in the planning process)_. Angela reiterates to Pope within the sneak peek that she doesn’t care all that much what he does out on the job, since she’s known about the Cody family line of work for a long time now. She’s accustomed herself to it.
Before the end of Animal Kingdom season 4 episode 8, we’ll get a chance to see the end of the job … and also what the future holds for Pope and Angela.
