Are You the One? season 8 episode 4 video: Do Jenna, Kai end things?

As we prepare for Are You the One? season 8 episode 4 on MTV Wednesday night, it seems as though there are going to be emotional conversations aplenty. It also feels like one relationship in Jenna and Kai are falling apart.

In the video that CarterMatt has for you below, you can see a great deal of second-guessing on the part of Jenna when it comes to whether or not she and Kai are a perfect match. There were only a couple of beams at the last ceremony, meaning that maybe the two of them aren’t meant to be in the way in which they previously thought. Jenna’s been feeling insecure in the relationship for a while, especially when it comes to the open-relationship part of it. She doesn’t want to see Kai doing anything with anyone else.

With most relationships, it’s hard to say that one person is fully in the right or fully in the wrong. Is Jenna looking perhaps too much at mathematics in determining that she and Kai aren’t right for each other? Maybe, since she and Kai had one of the more established relationships in the house and it makes some sense that they were one of the two beams. However, she’s also had issues with him well before then that need to be talked out and it feels like rather than properly hearing her, Kai responds with anger, shouting and proclaiming that she’s “reasoned” him out of the relationship. Maybe a better course of action would’ve been to either work on some of her other concerns or give her space.

No matter what happens moving forward, it does feel like there’s more story to tell with the two of them and through upcoming episodes, we’ll have opportunities to see some of that explored further.
