The Bachelorette episode 9: Hannah Brown’s hometown dates!

Coming up on The Bachelorette episode 9, hometown dates are here with Hannah Brown! This is always one of the most entertaining episodes of the season. It’s when we get to meet a whole motley crew of characters whether it be concerned parents, argumentative people, and occasional elements of romance. There’s a little bit of everything thrown into this episode.

So who are the contestants we’re going to see on hometowns? Think along the lines of Luke Parker, Tyler Cameron, Peter Weber, and Jed Wyatt. One of them will “win” this season, and there’s a good chance one of the others (or Mike) could end up being the Bachelor on the other side.

In the preview for hometowns, we saw more of an exploration of Luke’s faith, a chance to meet Tyler’s father, and for things to get hot and heavy. Hometown dates are going to be coming up and through that, sex is going to be a key part of the conversation.

Eventually in here, we know that The Bachelorette is going to get to that moment where Hannah tells Luke off and flips him off on his way out of the competition. There’s no real reason because of this to get angry at Hannah and say how badly she screwed up keeping him. That’s something that, at this point, she has to know for herself. There are other questions this season, including how the show handles the Jed – girlfriend scandal, but that’s a subject for one of the end-of-season specials rather than where we are right now.

We’re honestly shocked overall that The Bachelorette has no problem openly showing Luke being eliminated before it happened; this may just have to do with them knowing how unpopular Luke is and they think this is a good way to reassure viewers that when the dust settles, all is going to be just fine.
