Love & Hip Hop Atlanta season 8 episode 16 video: A wine tasting goes south

Isn’t going to a wine tasting supposed to be something fun? You would think so, and that’s going to be the focus of the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta sneak peek below. Season 8 episode 16 is airing on Monday night and relationships (again) are going to be at the center of the drama. Given that they are at a wine-tasting, it feels like this is the perfect place to throw a glass on someone else … but that doesn’t happen. Instead, it turns out that storming out is the better option du jour for Shekinah.

So what causes her to peace out on the whole situation? It has a lot to do with Spice and the comments that she’s firing off about Akbar. There’s really only so much that she’s willing to take no matter the setting or the quality of the rose. This is just a bridge too far and it’s a move that may end up causing Shekinah to rethink future moments with Spice — at least so long as Akbar stays an important subject. A lot of people have a past on this show with each other; with that in mind, what cast members really should know at this point (it’s not like this is the first season!) is when to say something, and when to realize that you’re better off walking away … or at least changing the subject.

There will be crazier things that happen this season and more difficult hills to climb than this — we don’t think VH1 is going to put out their most dramatic moment of the episode in advance. Nonetheless, it’s still the sort of thing that grabs your attention leading into what’s going to be a highly-rated episode even without all of the buss.

Kendra gets wind of the scandalous rumors about Joc; insensitive comments spark an emotional argument between Spice and Shekinah; Tokyo goes missing; Scrapp struggles to break the cycle; Akbar finds common ground.

Even if Akbar may be at the center of some drama here, at least he’s got some better footing elsewhere. That has to be good for something.
