The Vampire Lestat season 3 episode 6: Could Akasha return?
As we head into The Vampire Lestat season 3 episode 6 on AMC this weekend, have we seen the last of Akasha?
Well, the first thing that we should say here is that we do understand where at least some of the excitement for more is coming from. The ancient vampire proved to be incredibly entertaining throughout episode 5, enigmatic and haunted as she may be. Lestat spent an extensive amount of time tending to her and yet, we eventually saw him depart that role.

So is there a chance that Akasha does somehow turn up in the present? That does remain to be seen but at the same time, Sheila Atim seems open to it. Speaking to TV Insider, the performer had the following to say:
I don’t know. I like the idea of modern day, but I want there to be clues, I think is what I’ve said in some of the earlier conversations and I’m constantly thinking about [it]. I’ve got ideas, which I’m not going to reveal, but I’ve got ideas for little tells that, “Whoa, she’s not like us.” But what’s so fun about this show is that they all do so well at masquerading and walking among the modern day mortals as if nothing’s going on other than having to shield their eyes and walk around at nighttime. And they’re all very stylish in their own way, which was another thing I love about the show. I was like, “Oh, everyone just looks great. Costumes are great. The fits are great. Everyone looks like chic and sharp.”
In general, we are imagining that there will be some surprises through the remainder of the episodes this season. Whether that be Akasha or someone else, though, very much remains to be seen.
