A Double Shot at Love reunion: When’s it airing? What to expect
Here’s a good way to look at the reunion leading into it — the majority of the women there were sent home at some point during the season by Vinny and Pauly D, and that’s without even getting into the people who were there at the very end. There’s still no telling how they feel about the end result … which is going to be dramatic. We don’t want to give anything away, but you’re going to want to watch. There will be fireworks and not all the fun kind that you see and smile at on the Fourth of July. This could be one of the more eventful ends to a reality dating show in some time.
If there is a major question we’re wondering, it’s this — will MTV paint Pauly and Vinny in an unfavorable light if they do something less than likable in the finale? We’re talking here about two of their biggest stars who have been a part of the network for close to a decade. They’ve made a lot of money working alongside these guys and putting them on blast may not be the best thing for some of their other shows … but it may be the most appropriate thing based on the results of the season.
One other thing to consider entering tonight’s finale: The possibility for more down the road. Can there be? It’s an interesting situation since in order for there, Pauly and Vinny would need to end up with no one. Otherwise, you’re running the risk of finding another cast who could prove more than worthy of the gig, and we know that this is not the easiest thing in the world to come by. (Can you imagine a season of this show with some other MTV reality stars on it as the leads? Sure, but we’re not sure that you would really want that once you actually got it.)
The finale for A Double Shot at Love is airing on MTV tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. If you haven’t seen a sneak preview for it just yet, you can do so over at the link here.
