‘Jersey Shore’ season 6: The Situation shows off his ‘situation’ for PETA

Although Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino did not strip down for PETA in the same exact way we have seen Pamela Anderson or many other Hollywood celebrities do in the past few years, the “Jersey Shore” star is still doing everything else that he can to help promote causes related strictly to animal rights.

So what is the “Jersey Shore” star saying specifically? In the latest ad that you can see below, Mike does his best to make a message known about spaying and neutering your pets to help reduce overpopulation. In other words, he is like a shirtless version of Bob Barker! This ad also includes a video, and in it you can see the newly-sober Situation say the following when it came to the cause he is fighting for:

“The best thing that you can do to help homeless animals today is A) if you’re looking to get a pet, visit your nearest shelter; B) if you do have a pet, fix it so we do not continue to have an overcrowding problem.”

Mike has been rather busy promoting the show over the course of the past few months; in addition to promoting the MTV show and talking about some of his own recovery, he also filmed a spot on “Celebrity Big Brother” earlier this summer. Unfortunately, none of this has really helped at the end of the day in order to raise the actual ratings for the show, which hit a season low on Thursday night.

What do you think about some of Mike’s comments?
