The 100 stars Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley announce secret wedding
In a series of posts on Twitter, the stars of The 100 confirmed that the two of them were recently married — Taylor also posted a photo of the couple together, and you can see that at the bottom of this article. It’s wonderful news for the two of them, but also certainly surprising news given that there were many people out there who, more than likely, were not even aware that the two of them were together. The relationship was extremely private, and they were likely able to do that in part due to a secretive set and being careful while out in public.
Here is what both Taylor and Morley had to say about the ceremony:
Eliza – “Recently I married my best friend and soul mate [Bob Morley]. We are very happy and ask that you keep your comments kind and respect our privacy at this time
Bob – “It is with such a full heart that I call [Eliza Taylor] my wife This is something we both cherish very deeply and are beyond happy. Please remember to be respectful and kind to one another. Be well be kind.”
One thing that is very clear about the posts is that they were coordinated to go out at the same exact time (6:44 p.m. Pacific time) — meaning that they obviously planned to send the statements out together. Meanwhile, the two of them posting the news late on a Friday night also speaks to their desire for a low-key announcement. They may have wanted the news public without an enormous amount of hoopla — Friday nights are often when news tends to vanish quickly, given by the time many writers return to work on Monday, there are other subjects out there. (It’s incredible especially that the two were able to keep this under wraps in the social-media page, especially since both of them are active online and often share photos and a number of different things that they are working on.)
Ultimately, I couldn’t be more thrilled for the two that they were able to build a great relationship together after working alongside each other for many years. It’s a relationship that they clearly hold near and dear to their hearts, and it’s a part of their life that they may continue to keep relatively private moving forward.
New episodes of The 100, meanwhile, are going to continue to air on The CW Tuesday nights. Recently, the network actually announced when the finale for season 6 is going to air, and you can read a little bit more about that by heading over to the link here. There are still plenty of episodes to go this season and chances to see Morley and Talyor on-screen.
