Bachelor in Paradise 2019: Why Hannah Godwin, Kristina Schulman need to appear

Bachelor in Paradise 4 full trailerAs we prepare for Bachelor in Paradise 2019 — and with filming likely to happen over the next few weeks — let’s talk about casting! This is obviously the most important part of Bachelor in Paradise given that without some notable names in the cast, this show ends up being a whole lot of hot air. If it’s all style and even less substance than usual (not that we’re talking about the most jam-packed show in the world here), Paradise isn’t going to work all that well. There are just going to be some missing pieces and some disappointments that come about.

Below, you can see five people who we absolutely think should be a part of the upcoming batch of episodes — and we also discuss this more in video form! Once you do that, remember to subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube for some other updates. We’ll have more coverage throughout the rest of this season, so stay tuned for more.

Hannah Godwin – We do think that she’s one of the biggest gets from Colton Underwood’s season, mostly because of the fact that she went so far and the breakup there was pretty painful. She’s probably one of the first phone calls production made given the viewers that she’ll bring into the show.

Kristina Schulman – She’s probably one of the most popular alum from Bachelor Nation and while we don’t think Paradise necessarily needs a number of repeat players, at the same time she got her heart broken on multiple occasions — really to the point where there were people who wanted her to be the Bachelorette someday.

Elyse Dehlbom – She’s probably not the flashiest contender for Paradise this season, but we actually think that she and Colton had some good chemistry and she certainly had one of the more notable exits. While you can give her flack for having trouble with the idea of the lead dating multiple people, it’s kinda understandable in real life. This would prove to be a little bit easier in an environment like Paradise … wouldn’t it?

Matt Donald – Yes, we recognize fully that he was eliminated after only one episode, but he had such a sweet story! There was something so endearing about his deaf family and him being a farmer; he’s basically the Grocery Store Joe of this current season and everyone is going to give Hannah B. grief for not picking him to last a little bit longer.

Blake Horstmann – Finally, we turn to one of the most prominent contenders from Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette last year. Remember when everyone assumed that he was going to be the Bachelor last summer? Well, that didn’t happen, but it’s pretty darn clear that he still has an audience that is out there and rooting for him.
