Next week on Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 25, be prepared to jump into some craziness with the finale “Jump Into the Fog.” This episode will pick up almost immediately where tonight’s left off, with a race to save a patient’s life and then also lives that could change forever. Take, for example, Teddy seemingly getting set to give birth and then also us getting a chance to see what happens with Meredith and DeLuca from here.
There’s SO much that this finale has to get through, but the status of MerLuca is obviously going to be one of the things that we’re focusing on the most. How could it not be? Just think about how Andrew seemed to throw himself on the sword for the sake of Meredith’s career tonight, and how that could lead to him being without a job or, even worse, in prison down the line. He did this out of love and realizing how much more Meredith has to lose, but will she let him really go through with this? It’s certainly an interesting thing to consider right now.
For a few more details, be sure to check out the official Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 25 synopsis below:
As fog begins to cover Seattle, the doctors of Grey Sloan navigate through personal complications. Meredith and Alex attempt to save Gus, while Levi talks some sense into a struggling Nico.

Based on where we left off tonight with Gus, it does feel fair to say that his life is going to be absolutely on the line in this coming episode and there are some reasons to be very much concerned for him. The only person capable of saving him is an agoraphobic woman from the UK who is stuck in a car on the way to the hospital, and there’s seemingly an accident happening around her on the road. This is going to be an emotional struggle to even get her there, and if she does arrive, will there be the right doctors there to help? Remember that Jackson and Maggie at the moment are not exactly at the hospital, either.
Will there be a cliffhanger at the end of all of this?
It’s Grey’s Anatomy! With that in mind, it would be an almost bigger surprise in the event that there isn’t one and we’re left with most of the major loose ends tied up. (It is a little strange that ABC is taking so long to confirm the official season 16 renewal, but don’t look at this as some sort of serious signal that the show is coming to a close.)
