‘Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars’ review: Did Bristol Palin drama end her run?
We know that “Dancing with the Stars” was not an easy one Tuesday night for Bristol Palin. as we saw she and Mark Ballas get involved in some of the nastiest drama of the season so far. If the claim about Mark missing rehearsal was true, then we almost feel a little bad for her … but at the same time, this doesn’t change the fact that she is the worst of the remaining dancers, and would probably go home if this show was based solely on the scores.
For the first elimination of the night, however, it was not her that left the ballroom. Instead we saw the exit of the first champion on the season: Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya. Really, this was not a surprise in any shape or form. He was the first contestant to perform Monday, and this is always the kiss of death for this show. In addition to that, he also had been in the bottom two before.
So did Bristol join him in heading out the door? At the end of the show, there were really three contenders to be sent out the door: Sabrina Bryan and Louis van Amstel, Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower, and Bristol and Mark. Score-wise, Bristol was the person who seemed to be going home; but, we also learned from Sabrina’s last season that she has a knack of going home before it is really time for her to do so. Bristol was saved yet again, and we instead said Helio got out the door. This was really an incredibly sad night of results, mostly because we lost two champions when neither one of them really deserved to go home.
