‘90210’ season 5 spoilers: What’s next for Teddy now?

Monday night marks the return of “90210” to The CW, and it also just so happens to mark the return of a character who is loved by a good many of the show’s diehard fans: Teddy! After being absent for a chunk of season 4, he returned near the end to deal with a rather interesting question from Silver: whether or not he would be willing to father a baby from Silver.

So where is this story going to go from here? In a new interview with TVLine, here is what co-showrunner Patti Carr had to say on this very subject:

“Silver’s storyline about the BRCA gene is continuing to be pretty central this year and is something we feel drives through the entire season … Obviously, Teddy was asked a big question [to father Silver’s baby] in the finale, and he’s going to have to come up with an answer. We do get his answer in the premiere… and they move forward in unexpected ways off of that.” 

As for what else we can probably expect to unfold this season, it really in some ways is going to feel like more of the same: there will be more drama, more romance, and of course more moments to get you talking. The only difference is that these characters are getting older, and parenthood is just one thing that is going to start popping up on their mind from time to time.
