Next week on SWAT season 2 episode 20, you will be seeing a story in “Rocket Fuel” that will hopefully pick up where tonight’s episode left off. That means getting a chance to see the current state of flux within SWAT, and also seeing more of Hondo is trying to come to grips with some additional responsibilities in his life. Deacon’s battling demons, everyone’s getting used to a new hierarchy, and there are, of course, more struggles and issues that the whole team is going to have to take on. Within a particular world like this, you gotta be prepared for a near-constant sense of twists and turns — and also for you to never really have that much of an opportunity to breathe.
The next new episode of SWAT carries with it the title of “Rocket Fuel,” and that in insight gives it a pretty good sense of some of the danger ahead. This is an episode where drugs are going to be at the center of much of the story, and the results of what they do could be catastrophic and alter a whole lot of the world of the show as we know it.
Curious in getting a little more news on what’s ahead right now? Then we suggest that you check out the official SWAT season 2 episode 20 synopsis:
“Rocket Fuel” – The SWAT team discovers a new version of PCP with ties to an escaped drug dealer who created a version that ravaged the city decades earlier. Tan’s personal ties to the case emerge when he brings in his mentor, Ben Mosley (Dominic Hoffman), the former lead detective on the original drug case, to help. Also, Chris weighs a major decision regarding her romantic relationship with Kira and Ty, and Hondo’s patience is tested by his new familial responsibilities, on S.W.A.T., Thursday, April 25 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Debbie Allen guest stars as Charice Harrelson, Hondo’s mother.
As we get closer and closer to the finale, there are some big decisions to be made — big ones when it comes to the future of Hondo as a family man, but then also other characters like Street and Chris also figuring out a little bit more of where they stand. This is a time of pretty seismic change for a lot of these characters, but we do see a lot of them embracing that rather than running for it. It’s the right way for them to be, but let’s just hope that it produces, in the end, some results that they are actually genuinely satisfied with.
One other thing to remember here is that we actually are really close to the finale! Just think two episodes as of right now, at least on the other side of “Rocket Fuel.”
