‘Supernatural’ season 8 spoilers: Dean unloads … his weapons (video)

We would be lying if we said that there was something earth-shattering that is happening in the sneak peek for Wednesday night’s new episode of “Supernatural,” but there is one thing that we still have to say about it: it is thoroughly entertaining.

Without really giving too much away from, let’s just say that it is yet another representation of the awesomeness that his Dean Winchester; he is part rebel, part weapons enthusiast, and 100% committed to getting his knife back even if you take it away from him temporarily. This episode has one of our favorite titles of the year in “What’s Up, Tiger Mommy?”, and we know that story-wise, it should pick up in the present world not long after we saw Sam and Dean make their grand escape with Kevin in the premiere.

Meanwhile, what may be interesting for Misha Collins fans is that this episode marks the first of at least eight that he is going to be a part of this season. Castiel will be trapped with Dean in purgatory, and along with the help of Benny the vampire, they are all going to have to work to find their way out. Unfortunately, the writing is on the wall (at least according to what Dean said in the premiere) that Cas is probably not going to survive this. So what are we really looking forward to here? The possibility that he might be wrong, since he did not actually see him die with his own two eyes. Meanwhile, we do already know that Benny is out in the real world, and causing problems for Dean without even being around him.
