‘Game of Thrones’ season 3 spoilers: Aiden Gillen talks Dubrovnik and more

If you love seeing more examples of just how beautiful the city of Dubrovnik is, you really don’t have to look any further than what the latest video from the local media has for you below. There are some sweeping sites of the Mediterranean city, and for fans of “Game of Thrones,” this is yet another reason to smile as the show has been using the location in full to paint the picture of life in King’s Landing.

So what does one of the show’s primary actors have to say about the show’s future in the city? Speaking in the video below, Aiden Gillen (who you may otherwise know as Littlefinger) had the following to say about the possibility of being back for a good span of time next year shooting season 4:

“If there is a fourth season, I can’t imagine not being back in Dubrovnik. I know that from the storylines that we are developing and from my conversation with the writers.”

Gillen also spoke briefly in more general terms about the third season, even though (as is always the case) he could not say much out of fear of HBO spawning one of those nasty little demon babies to come and take his life:

“The third season will be as surprising as the first and the second season. The writers have always been faithful to the [books], but they have always been good on throwing in some more surprises.”

Once Dubrovnik shooting is wrapped for good, producers are then set to take off to another foreign locale in Morocco to start shooting the storyline for Daenerys Targeryan; and finally, we are going to see the show return to Iceland for some brutal storyline shooting of life Beyond the Wall.
