‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: When will Klaus appear … as Klaus?

If you have been holding out to find out just when Joseph Morgan was going to return as the signature villain of “The Vampire Diaries,” get ready to smile: Klaus will be back in his own body just about at the time you start to really miss him.

The photo to the left comes from the third episode of the new season (entitled “The Rager,” which you can read more about here), and it clearly shows Morgan standing alongside Ian Somerhalder’s Damon, and the two do not actually appear to be hating their time together? What are they up to? Word is that they are getting ready to question the newest vampire hunter on the scene in Connor (Todd Williams), but things are not going to end up exactly going quite as they planned.

We don’t know whether or not Klaus gets his body back during the first or second episode of the season, but it is pretty safe to say by that time that some of the damage will have already been done. We are looking forward to how the character is planning to take advantage of being inside of Tyler Lockwood’s body, especially when it comes to him potentially messing things up further with Caroline. By the time that he is freed, isn’t it possible that Caroline fell for the person that Tyler ended up becoming … who really wasn’t Tyler at all? We’ll just have to wait and see. One thing we do know is that whenever Klaus does end up leaving Tyler’s body, Michael Trevino’s character is going to have his work cut out for him (though we are sure that the actor relished the fact to play another character within his own body for a time).
