NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 19 spoilers: ‘Searching’ for … something

NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 19 is airing on CBS come Sunday, March 31, so go ahead and consider this your reminder that there is a lot still to come on the other side of the Deeks – Kensi wedding. Is it clear that this ceremony is effectively the series’ big event of the year? Sure, or it’s at least the big event so far given that there is still potential for other ways to make your hair stand up at attention.

On the surface, we don’t necessarily think that the episode “Searching” is meant to shock you in some cataclysmic way. Not every single episode needs to reset the foundation; however, we do think that most NCIS: Los Angeles episodes need to offer something at least thought-provoking amidst some of the series’ standbys. (You know, the action, drama, and peril that you get to see more or less every week this show is on the air.) Through this episode, you will get a chance to see the return of Bill Goldberg as Lance Hamilton, a guy who came to Sam earlier this season with an offer — join him, as he may not be best suited for working with a larger team anymore. We’re seeing with Lance a guy who is rogue, effective, and incredibly skilled. He’s a solo action hero like no other … but it’s kind of a lonely existence. It’s also not something that Sam needs anymore, given that he and Nicole DeChamps are getting closer and our sentiment is that eventually, that closeness will turn definitively into something else — something that could actually fit into some specific labels.

“Searching” – Department of Justice (DOJ) Agent Lance Hamilton (Bill Goldberg) asks Sam for assistance in locating a former U.S. border patrol tactical officer who disappeared following a threat by the cartel. Also, Kensi and Army Criminal Investigative Department (CID) Special Agent Steve Evans (Shane McMahon) partner on a dangerous mission to recover a stolen hard drive with sensitive military intelligence on it, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, March 31 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Clearly, this synopsis shows that if Kensi does get some sort of honeymoon with Deeks, it’s either going to be short-lived or will take place down the road. Isn’t that a perfect way for them to spend summer vacation, if they do wait? It’s a good that that a character like her is able to compartmentalize. On March 17, you will see her marry the love of her life in a ceremony that will hopefully be jam-packed with romance. Then, just two weeks later she’s putting her life on the line for the sake of some valuable intel. All of that romance and whimsy will have to be filed away in her own mental hard drive, at least long enough to get the job done.
