If you find yourselves interested in learning the Magnum PI episode 19 return date following tonight’s episode, consider this article our version of saying “we’ve got you covered.” There are two episodes still to come this season, and you’re not going to want to miss any of them!

Next week there is no new episode arriving on CBS … but at least it’s the final hiatus of the season, right? It gives us some time to prepare for one of the biggest episodes of the season in “Blood in the Water.” This one looks like a story of survival, one that likely had to be a challenge to film given that so much of it revolves around Magnum and Higgins stranded in the middle of the ocean. She’s bleeding, there are sharks, there are bad dudes coming to take her and Magnum out, and … well, you get the drift. This is not a good spot to be in, even for people like Magnum and Higgins with their impeccable training.

The Magnum PI episode 19 synopsis tat CarterMat has for you below does a good job of indicating how these two get themselves in this situation in the first place:

“Blood in the Water” – When Magnum and Higgins get “yacht-jacked,” Higgins is shot and she and Magnum are stranded at sea, struggling to reach land before she bleeds out and the culprits return to finish them off, on MAGNUM P.I., Monday, March 25 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

We don’t think we have to hype up some of the drama within this episode given that signs point to it being INTENSE. Also, consider the likely top-notch Magnum / Higgins banter that we’re going to get! We know that idea of the two of them together is a rather polarizing topic (we’ve seen people both for and strongly against it) — when you think about, is there any non-polarizing romantic ‘ship within the entire Peter M. Lenkov universe? Just think about this for a moment — Steve & Catherine and Steve & Lynn had their fair share of detractors, just as Danny & Rachel did. Even on MacGyver, we know there are people who want Bozer & Riley together … but also people rooting for Riley & Mac. Is Junior & Tani the only pairing that most people tend to agree on?

Anyhow, we understand that romance is probably not going to be on anyone‘s mind entering this episode … it’s just an interesting thought experiment given that these shows tend to have so many beloved characters but so few relationships that stick. A big part of that may just be that these characters are loved for the way they are and it doesn’t need to change. The one thing that clearly does need changing entering this episode is Magnum and Higgins’ situation. Nobody wants to see either one of them become shark-bait before the finale.

Bonus finale scoop

Jordana Brewster will be back as Hannah! We’ll be back later in the week for more good stuff on that. If this is like Hawaii Five-0 and some of its recent finales, we’re sure a lot of the budget was saved for the final episode so that some really crazy stuff can go down.
