Blindspot season 4 episode 14 spoilers: Dive into the past

When it comes to Blindspot season 4 episode 14, the bad news remains that you’ll be waiting for a good while to see it. This new episode is going to air on Friday, March 8, and that’s a long time for a show that does have a tendency to sustain itself very much based on adrenaline. It gets many of its viewers hooked in and tells some pretty high-octane and super-unique stories.

Hopefully, the wait for this episode will prove to be worth it. What do we know about it at the moment? First and foremost the title here is “The Big Blast from the Past Episode” and that is certainly amusing. 03/08/2019 (08:00 PM – 09:00 PM) (Friday): An active bomber forces the team to delve into a case from their past. Starring Sullivan Stapleton as Kurt Weller, Jaimie Alexander as Jane Doe, Rob Brown as Edgar Reade, Audrey Esparza as Tasha Zapata, Ashley Johnson as Patterson and Ennis Esmer as Rich DotCom.

The big appeal for this episode should be from a character-building perspective, given that it will force the team into taking a close look at something that happened years ago. How do they reconcile some of the past within the present? That may not be the easiest thing in the world for them to do, but one way or another we imagine that they will figure that out … while also tackling some other important issues, including how Jane is doing amidst everything this season and also what other larger threats may be looming around the corner.

What we’re hoping is that this episode will kick off a run of several that will air throughout the months of March and April. Given that there are 22 episodes in the season overall, that does mean that there is a pretty hefty dose of story to tell and we’re excited to see the writers try to dive into some of that. Since there is no season 5 renewal at the moment, the timing certainly seems right for everyone to at least try to strike while the iron is hot and deliver some of the most exciting stuff possible.

Behind the scenes, we do know that things have been rather eventful — we’re still wishing star Jaimie Alexander the best after recently suffering an ACL/MCL tear that will take a little bit of time to recover from. (Read more about that over at the link here.)
