The Bachelor debate: Where is the Caelynn – Cassie footage?

Well, tonight, Tayshia got involved in some drama by telling Colton Underwood that these two discussed being on the spin-off show, and also don’t think that they are going to be ready for marriage on the other side of it. Do we think that this is actually the case? It’s honestly hard to tell based on what we’re seeing.
Let’s start with this, though — is it so bad if they thought about it? Let’s be real in that only one person is winning this season. On the other side of that, there’s another thing to consider here in that every person goes on this show because, on some level, they are interested in fame. Nobody goes on television unless they’ve got some sort of interest in this. They’ll all thought about it on some level, and yet for whatever reason, they get ridiculed for saying this.
Of course, then there’s the question of whether or not Caelynn and Cassie actually said it. Caelynn clearly denied it during her date and called the accusations “lies.” Where’s the footage? Why don’t we get to see it? We know these people are basically miced-up almost every single second of the date, and yet why don’t we have this footage? We feel like, in general, this is one of the most-frequent occurrences with this show. We have, at least once every season or two, something that supposedly happens off-camera that plays a big role in the story to come.
What we wish we had in this sort of situation is almost an instant replay, when Chris Harrison comes out with the footage or lack thereof. Maybe the uncertainty is the way of the show injecting some mystery into it … but we do think that because of this, it’s certainly possible that Caelynn’s stock as a possible Bachelorette falls, or that Tayshia loses some fans just because she’s the one who brought it up. (We’ve ultimately seen this happen in both ways.)
