Legacies episode 13 spoilers: Paul Wesley to direct!
Well, we don’t necessarily mean that literally. We highly doubt that Wesley is going to appear in this show as an actor, and nor does he really need to given that his character is dead within the timeline of Legacies. What we are going to see over the course of this episode, most likely is an opportunity to see him direct a chaotic story that features characters in peril. On the surface, it feels like this one is going to leave MG and Landon in a tough spot.

PAUL WESLEY DIRECTS – When a spontaneous road trip to visit MG’s (Quincy Fouse) parents leaves him and Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) missing, and a distressed Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) with no memory of what happened, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell), Alaric (Matthew Davis) and Kaleb (guest star Chris Lee) set out to find them before it’s too late. Paul Wesley directed the episode written by Mark Ryan Walberg and teleplay by Bryce Ahart & Stephanie McFarlane (#111). Original airdate 3/7/2019.
What we imagine this story is going to be about is almost everyone at the Salvatore School banding together with a common purpose — something that will probably be increasingly important as time goes on. It feels pretty darn clear to us that it’s hard to get all of these characters on the same page sometimes, largely because a number of them are teenagers. They’re headstrong and with that, it’s not always altogether easy to get them on the same page. Yet, when one of them is in jeopardy, everyone should want to step in and head out.
Consider this episode in some ways preparation for what could be coming up down the line, given that we’re not all that far away from the big season finale. Legacies is only running for 16 episodes in its first season so whatever happens here could fairly easily lead into whatever else is coming down the line.
Before we conclude, can we say something about the writer for this episode? Mark Ryan Walberg must’ve had a tough time with that name — not only is there actor Mark Wahlberg out there, but also the Temptation Island host of roughly the same name.
