Curious in learning about the Blue Bloods season 9 episode 16 return date, plus some information on what’s ahead? Consider this article your resource!
Given the fact that there are two episodes of Hawaii Five-0 next week, you may know already that there is no installment airing on February 22. However, what you may not have known is that there isn’t a new episode airing on March 1, either. CBS is biding their time waiting to bring new episodes back on the air — think in terms of March 8. There are currently two episodes slated to air next month, on March 8 and then also March 15. Because of the NCAA Tournament, you are going to see at one point the network embark on its annual break in the end of March; Blue Bloods will then return after that in April, where it will kick off what is likely its final run of episodes for the season. (Typically, the finale for this show airs around the second week in May.)
Unfortunately, it is still so far from the next new episode airing that CBS hasn’t given away too many details just yet on the March 8 episode. Nonetheless, we know that “Past Tense” is the title for the next new episode, and following that, you’re going to get a chance to check one out entitled “Two-Faced” on March 15. We do think that there is a thematic tease or two within these titles, and we certainly don’t think that Blue Bloods is trying to send people down the wrong road here with any of this information. This is a show that you can typically take at its word when it comes to some of its titles.
As for some of what we want to see, we’re hoping that there are some major updates with the Jamie/Eddie wedding storyline — we’re getting near the end of the season, after all, and it does feel like we’re inching ever closer to a potential date for the ceremony. Given that we’ve already seen the two characters prepare for the ceremony, including finding a venue, we have to imagine that we’re going to see the series continue to move down that road. (Doesn’t this feel like a perfect story for the finale for anyone else?)
Also, we’d like to get Lou Diamond Phillips back as Delgado — there are few villains out there who are this compelling.
