ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2 spoilers: Is tension coming for Nolan, Emily?

On the season 2 premiere of “Revenge” on Sunday, it looked as though Emily Thorne had finally found a friend that she could really trust and rely on in Nolan. As a matter of fact, the two characters were even staying together for a time after our tech billionaire opted to avoid some bad memories of his old house by putting it on the market.

So is it all going to be a trip through sunshine valley for these two pals this season? If you believe that, then you obviously have not been watching this show closely enough! As a way of reminding us just what sort of series this is, we present some more comments from Gabriel Mann in a recent interview with E! News that suggest that once Barry Sloane further arrives on the scene to romance Emily, things may not go nearly as well:

“That would be too simple, wouldn’t it? To BFF it up the whole season? I think we start from the nice place that we ended last season, and then the car just starts going faster and faster and faster. I will tease the addition of our new friend from the U.K., who plays Aiden. I don’t know that Nolan is going to be loving the new love interest.”

It’s ultimately going to be amazing that Emily has any real time for romance at all, especially with just about everything else that is currently going on with her life. After all, she is also currently in the process of trying to balance being back in the Hamptons with the fact that Victoria is not only alive, but also wrecking some serious havoc when it comes to how her mother disappeared.
