‘Game of Thrones’ season 3: Spoilers for Bronn, news for Richard Madden

With “Game of Thrones” still currently in the midst of a busy filming period in the city of Dubrovnik, Croatia, we have a couple of new headlines pertaining to the show to share. The focus of one of these is all about another character who has been officially cited in “King’s Landing” working on the latest season of the HBO hit; meanwhile, the other revolves around what you can see Richard Madden doing soon away from the show.

The sighting – The first story comes to us via the Mary Sue, who has a variety of photos straight from the show’s set that feature mostly the likes of Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey, who we have of course seen plenty of over the past couple of weeks.

However, there is one other face that has turned up in here that we did not see coming previously: Tyrion’s sellsword Bronn, who is played on the show by Jerome Flynn. Should it be even remotely a surprise that he is there alongside our favorite Lannister in the city? No, it should not … but isn’t it still a pretty impressive sight to see?

Richard Madden lands a new role – While we know that playing Robb Stark keeps Madden rather busy, it appears as though he has also now picked up some work from when he is away from the set in the new period piece “A Promise.” Both he and Rebecca Hall, per Variety, are starring in the project, which revolves around a young man in pre-World War I Germany who ends up falling in love with the wife of a wealthy man who he goes to work for. The two drift apart for nearly a decade thanks to the war, but they end up later reconnecting. It’s an interesting project, and one that will hopefully show off another side to the actor.
