One of the things that we know right now is that there is a rather-notable name playing the part of the tech mogul: Adam Goldberg, known for Fargo, Taken, and a wide array of other things. We’re excited to see precisely how this character operates in the flesh, especially since he’s someone we’ve heard about plenty even though we haven’t had a chance to actually see him in person.

Below, the God Friended Me episode 15 synopsis does have some more information now when it comes to what lies ahead:

“Two Guys, a Girl, and a Thai Food Place” – Miles and Cara help a young woman who fell into a coma after disappearing the night before her wedding and wakes with no memory of that evening. Also, Rakesh comes face-to-face with Simon Hayes (Adam Goldberg), the tech CEO who may be involved with the God Account, and Arthur’s mentorship of Rev. Carver (Gaius Charles) gets off to a rocky start, on GOD FRIENDED ME, Sunday, March 3 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

As you can imagine based on Miles and Cara’s story alone, that one is going to be emotional and somewhat heartbreaking. She was so close to having the happiest day of her life, only to see it be cut out from under her at the very last minute. These two can certainly help her in a big way, and also learn something in the process. That has become a rather big theme for this season as a whole.

In case the name Gaius Charles in the synopsis also feels familiar to you, there’s a good reason for that — the actor has appeared in a number of big shows including Grey’s Anatomy and Friday Night Lights. Charles is a perfect person to play this role, given that he actually has a Master’s in theology. He can bring some perspective to the part and the subject matter at large that you don’t necessarily see from a number of other guest stars.
