‘The X Factor’ UK notes: More from Little Mix and Cher Lloyd

We have spent a great deal of time lately discussing this season of “The X Factor” via the United Kingdom; so why not share some of the music that is coming from some of these artists for a minute or two?

We’re going to kick things off here courtesy of girl group sensation Little Mix, who has just launched their brand-new single in “DNA,” which just so happens to also be the title of their upcoming album hitting stores on November 19. The song is actually vaguely familiar when it comes to the comparisons between it and Katy Perry’s “E.T.,” which is a song that the girl group (once known as Rhythmix) actually performed on the show last season.

Once again, though, this serves as proof that Simon Cowell and his producing team knows what exactly they need to do when it comes to creating music that is probably going to be popular with the masses. We’re planning he is going to execute a similar launch strategy for Little Mix that he did with One Direction and Cher Lloyd, which included waiting until the following year to launch them in America.

Speaking of Cher, why not share her latest performance to go along with it? Her debut album “Sticks & Stones” is finally being released in America this week, and this has led to her making all sorts of promotional appearances. Today, she dropped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in order to perform her smash single “Want U Back.” Expect many more stops from her over the course of the next week.

Do you think that Little Mix could at some point have the same sort of international success as either Cher or One Direction?
