The Blacklist season 6 spoilers 8 spoilers: Liz, Jennifer’s next move

The first thing that we should note about The Blacklist season 6 episode 8 later this month is that it’s actually going to be the first of a two-episode event. Surprised? You shouldn’t be. Because of the series having a 22-episode order and also its late premiere, it was clear that they were going to really have to blow through a lot of episodes in a reasonably short amount of time. That was all the more clear when they took January 25 off.

We’ll come back soon with details on the second hour of the two-part event; for now thought we have some of the first insight on the first of the two episodes in “Marko Jankowics.” Odds are, you’ve seen enough of this show over time to know that we’re probably stating the name here of a Blacklister. This episode airs on February 22 and over the course of it, you’re going to see Liz and Jennifer both at the center of some struggles. That’s mostly notable since, throughout most of the season we’ve at least seen Jennifer separated from most of the Blacklister cases. The closest she really got is when she encouraged Liz to turn over Reddington in the second part of the two-hour premiere:

Below, CarterMatt has the official The Blacklist season 6 episode 8 spoilers with some more news on what’s coming:

02/22/2019 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Friday) : When Liz (Megan Boone) and Jennifer (guest star Fiona Dourif) search for a woman who may know a secret about Red’s (James Spader) past, they find themselves in the cross-hairs of a ruthless smuggler, forcing Liz to ask an unexpected source for help. Meanwhile, Red mediates between two rival gangs in prison. Coy Stewart and Lusia Strus also guest star.

The deeper this story goes with Liz and Jennifer trying to get information on Reddington’s true identity, the more complicated it is likely going to become. For starters, they are going to have to dodge and weave more obstacles; meanwhile, the longer this takes the more they run the risk of Reddington actually finding out what they are up to. While prison may be a slight distraction for now, it may not be that way forever. All it takes is one slip-up for him to pick up on everything that Liz is doing.
