Is Magnum PI new tonight on CBS? Episode 15 scoop

For all of you out there waiting for more Magnum PI on CBS tonight, we come bearing some less-than-great news. There is no new installment on the air tonight, and there is not going to be any more of the Jay Hernandez-led remake next week, either. The show is going to make you wait until Monday, February 18 to see the other side of this current hiatus, which is one brought about because of Celebrity Big Brother airing in its timeslot the better part of the next two weeks.

When the show does return, it will be doing so in a big way and with the first appearance of Jordana Brewster as Hannah. We’ve already written a little bit about this character and what she brings to the table — including a romantic history with the title character. The unfortunate news here, at least for Magnum, is that she’s not exactly on the right side of the law. She’s a traitor who previously sold Magnum and his friends out years in the past, and beyond that, she’s now going to be around for a new plot that involves taking a rather hefty amount of money to deposit in her own coffers.

We know that Brewster can play dark characters rather well and with that, it should be exciting to see her here — though we’re anticipating a few different twists and turns along the way. For more, take a look at the official Magnum PI episode 15 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:

“Day the Past Came Back” – After Magnum is kidnapped, he discovers that Hannah (Jordana Brewster), Magnum’s ex who landed him and his friends in the POW camp, is on the island and planning to steal a fortune in gold, on MAGNUM P.I., Monday, Feb. 18 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

We have a feeling that this may not be the only appearance of Hannah on the show, mostly when you think about everything that she’s capable of and the rather extensive history that she has with Magnum in the first place. There’s a lot of deep, emotional stuff that the series could choose to really mine with this, provided of course that this is something that they are particularly interested in doing.
