The Good Doctor season 2 episode 14 video: Shaun, Glassman live the high life

While there are some fun moments here and there on this show, there are not often too many moments that we would describe as categorically funny. Yet, there could be some over the course of “Faces” as Shaun and Dr. Glassman may get high … which inevitably could lead to all sorts of various hijinks. Shaun’s not someone to really experiment with drug use, so how all of this comes about is interesting in itself — let along whatever the ramifications of this decision are going to be.
What The Good Doctor seems to be going for with Shaun and Dr. Glassman here is rather simple, at least in that these are two guys who have been through quite a bit together over time and because of that, it makes sense to allow them to have a breather. As silly as a part of this story may be, though, you do still have to wonder just what sort of larger ramifications there could be. Is Shaun and Dr. Glassman doing drugs going to have an adverse side effect? Will this impact Glassman in the long-term? We do know that he is far from being out of the woods and that there more than likely could be some struggles coming at some point down the line for him still.
At least Glassy’s got a good friend who is going to be there through thick and thin. Shaun’s shown his loyalty to him at this point; while he’s been able to help Aaron with his recovery, having Aaron in Shaun’s life has helped him to grow as a person and better understand unconditional love.

As for some other stories not featured in this episode, we’re going to have a chance to see a particularly powerful storyline for Dr. Andrews as he has to make some tricky decisions when it comes to his new patient — someone who made need a face from a deceased patient.
